Pheasant Opener 2010 - It's What's for Dinner!
Eddy (StormWatch Kentucky Rain) and the gang had a very nice Pheasant opener. We brought home five birds today, and had a very nice dinner. Took a few pictures of Eddy and Rose. Eddy is on my left. She is a very good worker, all business!
We will be in South Dakota this Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Just got an update from a friend in SD that has our Rory and Bernie and said he limited out easily today. He actually went out at half time of the Vikings - Dallas game and was back with 4 minutes left to the game. We will be joining them next weekend.
We will send more pictures next week from the South Dakota hunt. We will be in North Dakota in November. One of our puppy people has a 5000 acre Ranch close to Gackle and Bismarck that is overrun with birds. Should be fun!

StormWatching in West Palm Beach...
StormWatch kids showed in West Palm Beach, Florida on Saturday and Sunday, July 10th and 11th, 2010. Those that were 'watching for the Storm', saw it hit with gale force winds - both days! On Saturday, Tegan (CH StormWatch Thunderclapp Tegan, JH, WC CGC) took Best of Breed over two male Specials - one highly ranked - earning her 5 Grand Championship points and her first Gr.CH. major. Flyer (StormWatch Earth Wind N Flyer, JH) won Winners Bitch and then took BOW for her first 4 point major. And young Mako, from the 9-12 mos. class, took Best of Opposite Sex over the male Specials, earning him a 4 point major as well. Kobe (StormWatch The Perfect Storm, JH WC CGC) earned Reserve Winners Dog.
Sunday proved to be yet another phenominal StormWatch show day. With Tegan (CH StormWatch Thunderclapp Tegan, JH WC CGC) earning Best of Opposite Sex - earning her 2 Grand Championship points; Flyer (StormWatch Earth Wind N Flyer, JH) winning Winners Bitch and Kobe (StormWatch The Perfect Storm, JH WC CGC) winning Winners Dog and then earning his first 3 point major, one could say the Storm surge was still rising!
A great StormWatch weekend!! (Chelsea and Tegi pictured below.)
