Kobe and Tegi earn Working Certificate Excellent Titles
On March 13, 2011, the brother/sister team of Kobe and Tegan, earned their WCX's on the first try! Barely two years old, the two made short work of the tricky land and water doubles - taking perfect lines to all four marks and picking up chukkars as well as ducks. The water honor was flawless with both, but Tegi had the extra feature of having to honor THROUGHOUT a gunner change! (The judge made us honor OFF lead while the gunners came and went for an additional 10 minutes!)
I am so proud of these two talented kids - beauty AND brains!

Kobe Earns American Championship in 6 months!!
Kobe (*CH* StormWatch The Perfect Storm, JH WC CGC) earned his American Championship with 3 majors on January 29, 2011 at the Ocala KC show. Needing only a single point, he had to beat 5 other dogs to finish by taking the major. After finishing on Sunday, we opted to keep the major by NOT moving him up for BOB on Sunday. Half brother, Hart, earned the major on Sunday. Kobe will be bred to Lyric this February, and then will continue on his Senior title, Grand Champion title and his WCX title.
He will be one busy boy!

UPDATE: TEGI TAKES A GROUP 4!
Following up on her winning the Sporting Group in Boca, Tegan and Chelsea earned a Group 4 under Judge Barbara Dempsey Alderman on December 17, 2010 at the Orlando Cluster. In a huge Sporting Group, Tegi was flawless in her presentation and movement - the crowd absolutely loved her. Brother Kobe earned one point that day and then won the 3 point major on Sunday, making his CH total 10 with both majors. The judge on Friday, George Marquis, said he was overwhelmed with Kobe's type, muscle and attitude and that he would be a great Special in the near future.
Today, Tegan qualified for the Eukanuba Cup in 2011 by being in the Top 25 FCRs in the country. She is currently No. 14.

A StormWatch Grand Champion!!
The 4 day show in Arcadia, Florida the weekend of October 7-10, 2010 proved to be most exciting. Going Best of Breed on Thursday and Friday, and then Best of Opposite Sex on Saturday and Sunday saw StormWatch attain its first new Grand Champion! Tegan (now GCH CH StormWatch Thunderclapp Tegan, JH WC CGC) earned her 3 GCH majors very early on. At the same cluster, Kobe (StormWatch The Perfect Storm, JH WC CGC) was BOW and BOS over Specials on Thursday; while Hart (StormWatch A Mighty Wind) went WD on Sunday. Flyer (CH StormWatch Earth Wind N Flyer, JH) took the Select Bitch points both Saturday and Sunday. Last weekend at the Finger Lakes shows in NY, Corry (Can CH StormWatch Edge of the Cloud) took 2-five point majors and 1-four point major in the 4 day show earning 14 points toward his American CH - needing only one more point. The weekend previous to this, Brodie, (StormWatch Eye of the Storm, Can WC) at her very first show, earned 5 points in Canada with a Group 4 placement.
We are very pleased to add our new Grand Champion, Tegan, to the StormWatch standings.

Kyla earns first points in Style...
Kyla (StormWatch Inherit The Wind, JH) earned her very first show points at the 2010 Southern Skies Supported Entry in Brooksville, Florida on November 13 & 14. Taking Winners Bitch on Saturday was a great start to her Florida weekend, but outdid herself on Sunday by going BOW for a 4 point major crossover! It was especially wonderful since Grandma Kathi was at the other end of the lead both days. Kyla is co-owned and adored by Bobbie Bradley and is out of Isabel's second litter (Papa was Eng. CH Gayplume Dream-Maker - Joker.)
Corry 'Majorly' Finishes American Championship!
Corry (Can/*AM* StormWatch Edge of the Cloud) finished his American Championship today, November 3, 2010, at the Fort Wayne, Indiana shows. Corry did it with style as he earned all majors for his CH! (2-5 pts., 1-4 pt., and 1-3 pt.) He finished his Canadian Championship before he was a year old. We are very proud of the dual Champion, as we are of his owner, Susan Ware, and his terrific handler, Caroline Ware! Corry's cousin, Vita, also finished her Am. CH today with all majors as well. She is now BISS Can/AM CH Rowansgaard Rosa Mundi - handled exclusively by Susan.
Brodie Earns Group 4th at very first show!!
At the Burlington KC show on Saturday, September 25, 2010, Brodie (StormWatch Eye of the Storm, WC) earned 5 points and a GROUP FOUR at her very first show! Brodie is owner handled/trained and loved by David Simpson.
Tegan finishes CH, WC, JH...all before 18 mos!
Tegan (CH StormWatch Thunderclapp Tegan, JH WC CGC) had a tremendous start to her young life. Starting in the breed ring at 6 mos, Tegi was owner-handled and trained to all of her titles - going Best of Breed at 8 mos. by winning over Specials. The judges comments from show to field have been glowing. She continues in both show and field by earning 2 Grand Championship points in Orlando, FL, receiving a 2 year Invitation to the Eukanuba Cup in 2010 & 2011 and working toward Senior Hunter which she'll start in the Fall. Listen for the Thunderclapp - and Watch for the Storm!
New Junior Hunter - Kyla!
StormWatch Inherit The Wind, *JH* - Kyla - earned her Junior Hunter title this past weekend. The little 13 month old girl did it in true StormWatch style going 4 for 4 legs in a row! Kyla's owner/handler/trainer, Bobbie Bradley, has worked very hard from the start in getting her little girl ready - and Kyla made her mom, Isabel, very proud. Kyla's daddy, Joker, is smiling as he looks down from heaven.
Brodie earns her Canadian WC
In one try, StormWatch Eye of the Storm, "Brodie" earned her Working Certificate. Owner-trained and handled (and may we say 'adored') by David Simpson, she was nearly steady and is already working on her WCI! Her foray into the show ring soon to follow!
Kobe is StormWatch The Perfect Storm, JH WC CGC
And a 'perfect storm' he has been in the field! While his sister, Tegan, was stirring up the show ring, Kobe was busy getting his field foundation perfected. Now, that Tegi has finished her CH from the Bred By classes, Kobe is ready to start showing in BBE. Kobe will be running Senior this Fall as well.
Flying High is StormWatch Earth Wind N Flyer, JH!
Flyer (StormWatch Earth Wind N Flyer, JH) earned her Junior Hunter Title in 2 straight weekends!! Going 4 for 4, Flyer impressed judge after judge with her amazing 'big air' entry!
However, talent is not the only thing this girl has going on! She currently has 8 points toward her breed Championship -- all of her points coming from the Bred By class with Gramma Leonhardt at the other end of the lead.
Look for her to be flying through the agility trials soon as well!

Rowdie is CH StormWatch Rocks U Like A Hurricane, WC
Rowdie is our first StormWatch Champion at 15 mos. At 16 mos, he took a group 3rd and was No. 12 in the AKC rankings! A gorgeous young dog, he exceled in the field in his first attempt in all of his stakes. He achieved his WC, his first JH leg and took 3rd place in Unsteady Singles. His very first attempt at Rally earned him a RN leg. We look forward to lots of show, field, agility and obedience excitement from this wonderful boy!
Mako is StormWatch Wind Legends...
Mako was the first of the second litter to point in an all-breed show. As of July 10, 2010, he has 5 points - winning his first major with a 4 pointer! He did this in classic StormWatch style by beating 2 male Specials - one highly ranked - to add an extra point to his Winner's Dog 3 point major, going Best of Opposite Sex. Watch out for the Shark in the Storm!
Wyn wynning her first 3 point major! Stormwatch Whirlwynn, "Wyn" now has 5 points to date.
StormWatch The Wind N The Lion - "Zulu"
Zulu is from our second breeding with Isabel. His father, Joker (Eng. CH Gayplume DreamMaker) was a two time Crufts winner. Zulu has 3 points to date, earning his first at 6 mos. of age. He took 2nd in Puppy Sweeps and 3rd in Puppy 9-12 at the FCRSA 2010 National Specialty.
